About us

As a club we have gone from having 1 team last season to having 4 this season which is brilliant, these boys will be given lots of challenges to help aid their development, whether that be playing a year up or training with older ages. We now have an under 7 side and 3 under 8 sides. These boys will compete in the local league as well as playing lots of other Academy sides. We already have games scheduled against Derby, West Ham, Wolves, Birmingham City, Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday, Manchester City & Chelsea.

Players must be challenged to become independent decision makers with the ability to understand and carry out the instructions of the Coach and react to the needs of the team at any given moment. Creating a fun and safe environment for our players to try new things and develop with the hope of joining our Academy at under 9’s.

Last season out of the 18 boys we had signed on for us at under 8’s, 9 of them were offered a 1 year contract into our Academy the other 9 were offered the option of joining our Shadow Squad side. This is a great return and it shows that with 2 training session a week and a game at a weekend we can help the boys achieve their goals.
